Pricing

Contact us

Pricing varies according to the situation.    As I define the 2008 season I will try to add more information with specific pricing.    It's no secret sometimes you get what you pay for and other times you pay so much....for nothing.    We are a fair and reasonable company.
Here are a few principles that account for what we do charge.

  1. Ladders/Roofs.    People are injured and killed every year on their homes.     Prices reflect our insurance costs, abilities, and need to work in dangerous situations.    Animals aren't dangerous.   Heights/pitches/are.    Climbing a ladder and working from one are two different scenarios.
  2. This is an odd industry.   90% of our work requires numerous trips to a site, usually daily. This adds time to a day especially in a urban environment.    Fuel is expensive....no brainer.  Vehicle maintenance, etc....you get the picture.
  3. We have abilities and training few have.    Kicking a winning field goal looks easy and kickers make it look easy.....And everyone wants to be the kicker until game day.
  4. Employees are asked to perform up to standards and should be reimbursed as such.

I could go on ad infinitum, but let me go over some pricing basics.
Most jobs entail a service call, inspection, and trap set up fee.
These jobs usually incur a per animal removal fee.    No animal, no fee.   We have added a daily trip fuel surcharge starting in 2007.
Some other jobs are flat rate fees or flat rate on a weekly/monthly basis.
Repair pricing cannot be definitive until we have completed an inspection and determined the extent and difficulty of the repair.     We are not in the remodel business so don't worry.    We do consider two things important in repairs:   Effectiveness and Aesthetics.    In that order but equally important.
In 2008 we may start charging an estimate fee.   Pigeons and bats especially.    It simply requires too many man hours to drive around to everyone and bid these jobs for free especially when they are likely to be worth a few hundred dollars.
Please call our office for more informaton on pricing.    Ask us any questions you have, we'll be happy to answer them and see what we can do for you.    We really DO appreciate your business because if you're satisfied, it's one less dollar we spend on advertising.    And that's the most expensive item of all.
